Foods and Microorganism


Important source of food is needed by the community. Types of food in the form of food and drink becomes a very necessary thing. Not a few people who consume foods derived from household industries, industrial and large industrial Menegah, both sold in the market and in shopping malls. Food consisting of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. Most food is a good growth medium for various microorganisms. In general, the number and kinds of microorganisms found in food reflects the quality of the food sanitation. Microorganisms can damage food, beverages, traditional medicines by doing your metabolism and produce metabolic products that are not desirable and can cause disease, poisoning until the cause of death (Tarigan, 1988).
